OK, so i’m not going to go on about what shots you should have… It takes enough time to shout out the roll call on the day as it is. Hopefully this guide can help you to understand which formal group photos you should have.
A wedding day in all its entirety is beautiful, it's raw and it is personal. Amy & Terry's Canada Lodge boho wedding was no exception. In fact, it blew the roof and socks off, especially when Terry the groom sang live for their guests
Plas Glansevin in Carmarthenshire was held the super fantastic, wedding celebrations of Rhi & Ollie in August which had tons of Harry Potter and F.R.I.E.N.D.S. references around the place surrounded by their closest family and friends in the most intimate venue in the middle of nowhere, what a wedding! Blimey, where do I even start! Well, I could say that I almost couldn't make their wedding at Plas Glansevin due to a cycling accident. But that's another story! Thankfully though I was fit enough to capture the celebrations of what is arguably the wedding of the year! The Grade II listed Georgian
Grittleton House wedding venue hosted the stunning wedding of Jennie & Will at the end of August in the stunning surroundings of the gothic architecture of the venue amongst their friends and family. Jennie & Will had their Grittleton house wedding recently and what a setting it was for their special day! I was in awe of the venue and the interior detail. The outside is pretty stunning too but as it was heavily raining all day there was little chance of us venturing outside. Non the less it didn't dampen their spirits at all. I joined Jennie and her bridesmaids during
Abi & Chris Had their wedding at Canada Lodge & Lake at the start of August in absolutely gorgeous settings and the golden light as it set on the horizon. Abi and chris are one of those couples who are just super easy to photograph, they enjoy the moment and have a great time about it! Of course they were a little nervous in front of the camera at their wedding at canada lodge. Such as every couple but they just embrace it and make my work so much easier! Photographing happiness is just the best! Bridal preparations were held at Abi's
Scarlet & Chris had their Cookridge hall wedding recently and it was awesome! The venue tied in with Chris' passion for golf, where he of course* had to get one last game in before the celebrations which were intimate and emotional. Such a perfect day with it all starting at the salon where the girls all had their make-up and hair done ahead of the wedding. For those who haven’t been to a wedding at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church they should at least pop
It's not often, if at all that my brother Dafydd will ever appear in front of a camera, knowingly anyway. So when Dafydd asked to have a 'few' pictures taken of him and his lovely girlfriend Maddy. Of course, I jumped at the chance. Dafydd and Maddy met a few years ago and since then they have become such a great couple. I've never seen him as happy as he is now which is great to see. They moved away to Bradford for a year which was due to help Maddy with her career, before they made the announcement. The announcement
A church wedding followed by their reception at Cottrell park golf course with lawn games, a flower stall and handmade decorations. Sarah & David had the best wedding day! I joined Sarah at her parents home in Barry where her bridesmaids and parents were getting ready. The brides dad about to leave for a last minute dash to a bridal shop as they had misplaced the top piece of Sarah’s dress. D’ohh! Thankfully the rest of the day was perfect! The couple got married at the All Saints Church in Barry. Followed by their wedding reception at Cottrell Park Golf club which
Sophie & Sam joined me for their Rhossili, Gower photography in the most stunning setting overlooking the coast in a field of sunflowers with the summer setting sun. A friend messaged to let me know that a rare field of sunflowers had suddenly bloomed in one of the most incredible locations in Wales, Rhossili. Overlooking worms head with the sunset on the horizon I couldn’t resist. Sophie & Sam joined me for their engagement photo session having recently booked me for their wedding photography at Holm House in Penarth next year. I was amazed as we arrived… mainly as I pictured them
Canada lodge & Lake wedding, Cardiff is the ideal venue for a wedding! Nestled away in a shallow valley north of Cardiff, the venue recently hosted the wedding celebration of two of the nicest people ever - Rhiannon & Phil, in July. With live acoustic music playing throughout the day and a relaxed vibe the day was sure to be amazing! Canada lodge & lake wedding, Cardiff is where Rhiannon had her bridal preparations, set in the log cabin seated at the edge of the lake. What a view and setting for the morning of the wedding! I joined Phil at their
You've got one day! You’ll want to make sure every second counts on your wedding day, so it’s crucial to get your timings and wedding day timeline spot on! There's no wedding day timeline bible or spot on guide to help you with your schedule. Having photographed a lot of weddings over the last several years. I've experienced many different weddings, some on time, some behind time and others having to cut moments short - It happens and no matter how much you've planned to have your day run so perfectly, often timings are quite loose on the day. Hopefully you
Katie & Josh had their Brecon pre-wedding photo session recently. Having booked me well over a year ago with several months until their wedding, it feels like forever since we first met. Thinking how far away their wedding was, but here it is, it's flown by. The couple arranged to have their pre-wedding photo session in the woodland and waterfalls of Brecon. Absolutely stunning location and it's also one of my favourites too having photographed here over the years. They brought their dog too which is always welcome with me! He was totally awesome, although initially a little scared of the
Stacey & Scott had their wedding at the New House Hotel wedding overlooking the city of Cardiff in July. Their ceremony was in the idyllic Llantrisant church with a short journey to the venue which hosted their canapé and prosecco reception. The morning starting out with Stacey and her bridesmaids at their 'bridal prep' which was at The Vale Resort; A short drive down the road from the ceremony. Llantrisant church held the event overlooking the lush vista of the vale of Glamorgan packed full of their guests with some of the grooms Cardiff Blues rugby team mates in attendance. A short walk
Olivia & Adam had their Gower pre-wedding photography at the weekend. They timed a trip back home to Wales with their photo session and what a great shoot it was! We decided to have it at Oxwich Bay, near the wedding venue for the stunning beach, dunes and sunset! Olivia & Adam both confessing to their nerves of being in front of the camera but I reassured them that it's all about just being themselves. The beach was packed with tons of tourists on the beach, in the sea and on their jet skis yet the couple, totally unfazed and soaked up
Lisa & Pat had their wedding recently at Pencoed House. The weather was perfect, everyone was having a great time and I was there to document their wedding photography! I started out the day by visiting Pat and his groomsmen at their home as they got dressed and prepped Pat's beloved VW transporter ahead of the wedding. Shortly after, I headed over to bridal preparations to document the Bride and her bridesmaids at Lisa's parents home. The wedding ceremony was held at the Tabernacl chapel in Efail Isaf, followed by their wedding reception at Pencoed House Estate near Cardiff. Drinks and Canapés were served
Stacey & Scott had their New house hotel pre-wedding photography session recently. We decided to have it at the same location as their wedding. The weather was perfect and decided to hop the fence and into the meadow under the golden setting sun. I'd passed in the morning and the field was looking perfect, long, wild, tall grass, by the afternoon the entire land had been cut
