Miskin Manor Wedding Photographers South Wales | Chloe & Ben
Chloe & Ben had their gorgeous Christmas Miskin Manor wedding photography at the start of December. Not only was this one of the most insane dance floors documented; We also got the chance to get some great fantastic winter portraits around the venue too.
December is a time for family and wrapping up warm inside next to cozy fires. It’s also a magical time to host your wedding at a Manor House too. At the start of December, Chloe & Ben hosted their wedding which was very festive. Lots of little nods to the time of year including rich greens from their floral arch thanks to Eden Wedding Designs. There was such a buzz and excitement all day which is always great to document.
I arrived at the bridal party suite where the girls were in full flow getting ready, popping corks and all! Charmaine Gorwill headed up the Make-up and hair for the girls. It’s always lovely to work with Charmaine as she’s great company and there’s always a good vibe through the whole morning which certainly makes the bride much more at ease. 🙂 Ben arrived a little later full suited and ready to get the party started! I helped him out with his pocket square and boutonnière which has become a bit of a tradition for me now – a job I am happy to continue for sure!
Guests seated, Ben the groom poised and anticipating the arrival of the bride, a little nervous as expected (I managed to capture a little moment of this which you can see below). Nuptials completed, with the “I Do’s” safely expressed it was time for the celebrations. Heading straight out through the white confetti thrown by their guests on the lawn, looking for a moment as if it was snowing, wishful thinking maybe.
Having my mother to thank for the referral, I had a brief catch up with some of the guests who I also knew through her as some work together at the local hospital. Recognising some faces at weddings is always lovely and certainly breaks the ice when it comes to capturing more natural photos at weddings and nice that I was able to capture some moments for them too. So thanks mam for recommended me as their wedding photographer.
Before we knew it, speeches had arrived. I found myself laughing along with the speeches given the originality and personal touches throughout. It’s one of the most exclusive parts of the day getting to hear some really intimate stories and moments from the couple and their families, well they certainly went down well anyway with tons of belly laughter! The room at Miskin Manor was decorated filled with fairy lights around the room and candles lit on each table making it a feast for the eyes.

Ok, I think I need a run up to this next bit… The party and the DJ line up was insane! I could really end it with that but seriously, these guys were epic and felt something out of a set from Creamfields at times – music was epic. To continue, there was a bongo drummer and a Saxophonist complementing each other to the beat of the songs which left the dance floor with little space for anyone left to join. I recommend SIX15 to anyone wanting a heck of a night of solid dancing and huge fun. I won’t forget that dance floor in a hurry for sure. Just great to see so much freeness and people having a great time, it’s what it’s all about surely?!
The night rounded off with an enormous group of sparklers at the wedding and people keen for some chanting haha! Eventually got going and it was awesome, never exactly quite sure how it may play out but it looked like Chloe & Ben had the most magical ending to their night surrounded by their guests and sparklers…
