Pre-wedding photography at Ogmore Beach
It’s absolutely fantastic to kick of the first of many, Jodie & Huw’s pre-wedding photography at Ogmore beach last week was such a treat! A stunning walk during sunset and a chance to reboot the wedding season!
Jodie & Huw… and their dog Pudding joined me last week for their pre-wedding photography session at Ogmore ahead of their wedding photography at Coed y Mwstwr at the end of July. Hopefully by then, lockdowns and the restrictions we’ve come so familiar with will be behind us… Fingers and toes crossed!
We decided to walk over the dunes at Merthyr Mawr in Ogmore during sunset and what a relief it was to finally get back to photographing couples ahead of their wedding once again. I made sure we made the most of it and spent a little longer than usual soaking up the warm evening sun and the enjoyment of being around others once again.
They brought along their dog Pudding who loved exploring the dunes and the beach and was a bit shy for the camera… he moves so fast! It was a really good opportunity for them to catchup and relax in front of the camera as we discussed their wedding plans and the early days of their relationship too. I even had the chance to get the drone out too which is a new addition to my equipment and I’m excited to be able to document couples and the surrounding landscape in a new perspective.
