Coed y Mwstwr is a wedding venue based in Bridgend, South Wales and part of the Town & Country Collection. As a regular wedding photographer at Coed y Mwstwr, I am able to share my experience and knowledge of the venue with you. The venue is surrounded by towering trees which creates an exclusive and tranquil location for your wedding day.

Given the size of the venue, there is a choice of 2 ceremony rooms. The Elliot is the smaller of the two, perfect for hosting more intimate weddings which looks out to the peaceful garden. The Hendre suite is the larger 2nd room which can host around 150 guests thanks to their renovation and extension several years ago.

When to get married at Coed y Mwstwr

Given the vast amount of trees and woodland area, it’s no surpirse that having your wedding in the autumn is the best time to get married. The colours of the leaves on the trees start to change and you’re in for a treat as you take a stoll down the road. You can imagine how gorgeous your photography gallery would look.

To top it off, Coed y Mwstwr have a large open fire within the bar and lounge area which is ideal for warming yourself up in the colder months. But should the weather not cooperate, the venue boasts of many original features and plenty of characteristic rooms to take full advantage of for your photography at Coed y Mwstwr.
