Coed y Mwstwr wedding photography | Cassie & Gareth
The highlights of Cassie & Gareth’s Coed y Mwstwr wedding photography are here! What a spectacular wedding! I’ve been fortunate to photograph at the Coed y Mwstwr venue several times. I thoroughly enjoy returning every time!
Wedding Day Preparations
Cassie & Gareth had planned a stunning ceremony with the hard labor and vision of Karen of Panache. Who was at the venue for most of the early hours preparing the venue. There wasn’t a detail that was missed, with trees, lights, backdrops and glass candle holders lining the aisle creating such a stunning room. I arrived to find Cassie having her make-up done along with her bridesmaids and flower girls who all looked stunning. The Groom and his groomsmen getting ready at the Coach house in such high spirits with Gareth gifting the guys individual cufflinks resembling parts of their past band.
Ceremony & Speeches
The ceremony was stunning, The bride walked down the aisle behind her bridesmaids and accompanied by her father. Cambrian Quartet played them down with some absolutely stunning renditions which complimented the wedding perfectly! Rings & vows exchanged, the guests enjoyed canapes and drinks on the lawn which was seasonally warm.
It was time for the speeches, of course, very much a highlight at any wedding. The best men had pulled out the stops and had a game of Mr & Mrs and arranged for a slideshow presentation of very embarrassing photos of a young Gareth. Speeches lasted 28:58 seconds for the sweepstake (I actually won it with my guess of 28 minutes).
The light was absolutely perfect all day but a particular highlight was the evening light. It was golden and casting long shadows of the tall woodland that surrounds the venue. Talking the couple for a short walk in the woods was incredible. I was in my element and was able to document some stunning natural wedding photography portraits!
First Dance
The evening reception was well underway kicking things off with the cutting of the cake which you can see below was looking so good! Then the newly married couple were played into their first dance by Captain Atlantic to get the party started which was a fantastic dance floor full of great moves!
Cassie & Gareth’s wedding was absolutely stunning and I’m so glad I could be a part of documenting it!
