I’ve been following Lewis Fackrell for many years and truth be told, I messaged him only hours after my now Husband and I got engaged. We loved Lewis’ talent of capturing natural, authentic moments so much that we had to book him and secure a date before we even started thinking about looking at wedding venues ! We simply could not imagine anyone else behind THAT lens !

What sets Lewis apart is not just his talented eye, but his commitment to us, and I’m sure everyone else he works with. During the lead-up to the wedding day he was so approachable, responsive and generous with his time and advice. Our pre-wedding photoshoot was not only beautiful, but also helped us feel completely relaxed and prepared for our big day.

On our wedding, Lewis became so much more than a photographer. He helped with everything from fastening my jewellery, to coordinating moments behind the scenes, and even stayed on the dance floor far longer than expected to capture every memory. When his drone got stuck in a 20ft tree (along with all our confetti and portrait footage) he didn’t hesitate to hire a tree surgeon to retrieve it. That act alone speaks volumes about his professionalism and determination to deliver perfection.

Lewis turned around our gallery with impressive speed, and the images are nothing short of breathtaking. He didn’t just document our day, he captured every feeling. Viewing our gallery for the first time brought us straight back to the atmosphere, the energy, and the love we felt on that day.

He made us feel at ease, listened to what we wanted & had fun with us on the day. He liaised with other suppliers for us, grabbed us a canapé when needed & got our bridesmaids & groomsmen in to action when required. He made us feel so relaxed on the day, and nothing was too much trouble. Even now when we’ve messaged asking some questions about other bits he has been quick to respond and so helpful – he definitely goes above & beyond.

Our photos are so beautiful, he captured the important moments, the funny moments and the emotional moments and did a great blend of candid & posed shots. He told the full story of our wedding beautifully. The quality of photos are brilliant, the turnaround was fast and we were just so impressed with Lewis as a photographer. Even though the weather didn’t allow us to have certain shots we wanted, Lewis got us some fantastic photos and we are so happy with everything.

My partner Abbie had been banging on about this Lewis Fackrell for ages and how much she wanted him to be our wedding photographer. So as with everything related to the wedding I trusted her judgement, and as always she was absolutely right.

Lewis was so good at making us feel at ease in front of the camera, when we first met for our engagement shoot, he couldn’t have been nicer, made us laugh and feel so comfortable. The shots were amazing too!

He was so accommodating to all the changes and delays we had with our wedding through the pandemic. We had to wait for 3 years from the original date but when it came to the photos Lewis produced, it was worth the wait!

On the day he couldn’t be more hands on if he tried, chatting away with the guests, helping me and my groomsman get the perfect tie knot, he was an absolute pleasure to have around and be apart of our day.

Our wedding photos are incredible, we absolutely love them, capturing photos we never would have imagined. We couldn’t have wished for a better photographer and any couple who has Lewis to capture their special day will be extremely lucky.

We can’t recommend Lewis enough and all we can say is thank you for everything.

He put us at ease from the second he walked into both of our getting ready rooms on our wedding morning.
Lewis turns up and gives you his ALL on your wedding day. He will be running backwards, hyping you up, and somehow still capturing every moment perfectly.

He stayed well past 10pm to make sure nothing was missed—from the biggest moments to the tiniest, most special details we hadn’t even thought to ask for. It was incredibly important to us that we didn’t spend hours away from our guests taking portraits, and Lewis completely understood that. He worked his magic so efficiently that we got the most stunning, timeless portraits without feeling like we missed a second of the day.

Since the wedding, we’ve had so many compliments on the photos—how beautifully natural they look, how they truly captured the feel of the day, and how nothing feels over-posed or over-edited. Lewis has an incredible eye and such a talent for keeping everything authentic and full of life.

We also booked Lewis’ new photobooth package, which was a huge hit! The photos are fantastic, and our guests absolutely loved it—it added such a fun element to the evening.

Lewis spent the weekend with us, shooting on Saturday and Sunday, and still somehow delivered previews for us on Monday afternoon!

We honestly cannot recommend Lewis enough. If you’re looking for someone who will capture the true essence of your day while making you feel completely comfortable and looked after, Lewis is your person.

We couldn’t be happier with the experience we had with Lewis on our wedding day! From the moment we got in touch, he made us feel comfortable and confident that he would capture the special moments of our big day perfectly. Since we were getting married in Santorini, it was important to us that the photography had a classic British style, and Lewis delivered this beautifully.

Lewis was incredibly friendly yet professional, and his attention to detail was remarkable. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and understood exactly what we wanted. On the day itself, he was discreet but captured every important moment—from emotional candid shots to stunning portraits—perfectly.

What impressed us most was how well he handled the challenging weather. It was extremely hot and windy, yet Lewis went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we felt at ease. He helped the groomsmen with their boutonnieres and even assisted me with my veil, which had a thousand pins in it!

When we received the final photos, we were blown away by how stunning they turned out. Every shot told the story of our day perfectly, and we will treasure these memories forever. We also opted for the hybrid package, which included a short video capturing all our best moments—it truly brought the wedding to life.

Lewis even joined us on our boat trip the following day, where he took more fabulous photos of our friends and family, capturing yet another wonderful day. He was a comforting presence on what can be a stressful occasion.

It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are to Lewis for his contribution to our wedding. From the very first consultation he was so warm and friendly, we knew we had struck gold. The pre-wedding shoot was so much fun and made the on the day shots smooth and reduced any awkwardness.

On the wedding morning these were a fair few unforeseen hiccups, but Lewis stepped up to going above and beyond to help everything run smoothly and throughout the day was incredibly sweet with his little check ins “are you okay? do you need anything?” at just the right moments. We were also completely blown away when he told us there are photos ready and waiting in our online portfolio…at the end of the wedding breakfast!!

It was pretty magic waking up the morning after the wedding to incredible photos. We also couldn’t believe just how long Lewis stayed, he was on the dance floor far later that we imagined he would be able to stay and even got involved in the mosh pit shenanigans. We just couldn’t have asked for more in a photographer and we couldn’t really put a price on the service we actually received. The images are also spectacular and we adore them. Best of all, we made a new mate in Lewis. Thanks for everything Lew, what a hero!

Booking Lewis was one of the best decisions my husband and I made when planning our wedding.

Before the wedding his communication was excellent, he eased our nerves at the pre-shoot and was always on-hand to answer any questions we had. On the day itself, he was more than just our photographer; he gave welcome direction, adjusted my veil, fixed my husband’s tie, ran around in the heat, and so much more! I cannot put into words just how amazing Lewis was on our wedding day. To spend the day completely stress free with zero pressure from the photographer and achieve such amazing photos at the end of it was an absolute dream!

Lewis is very professional and very very good at what he does, it is clear he has a genuine passion for his job and making people happy whilst delivering an exceptional service. From arriving at the venue in the morning, Lewis was helping the groom’s party with their ties and mingling with the bridal party whilst capturing beautiful, natural, classy pictures that really captured the essence of the day.

I felt like Lewis had such a big part in the day as so many of our guests commented on how good he was, he blended in so well but at the same time was friendly and approachable and mingled with all of our guests. I’ve been to so many wedding where the photographers appear robotic and miserable but Lewis is the complete opposite. Lewis is an incredible photographer. From the moment we booked him he was responsive and we quickly established a fantastic rapport.

Trusting Lewis’ ability and letting him photograph us at one of his local spots for our pre-shoot was a really enjoyable experience that allowed us to get used to the camera and figure out how best to make us look natural, which was nerve-wracking at first but with Lewis in charge became a fun day in the woods!

I was worried that because day went so quickly we wouldn’t have many photos together, but how wrong we were! There were still loads of stunning images captured without us even knowing, which was great because we didn’t want to spend hours off without enjoying our day, and we weren’t pressured into doing that!
