Engagement photoshoot | Cecily & Jamie | Vale of Glamorgan
Ahead of their wedding in September at the fantastic and scenic Holm House Hotel in Penarth. Cecily, Jamie and I went on a small walk for their engagement photoshoot in the Vale of Glamorgan in May.
The idea was to visit one of their favourite walks in the area which they kindly introduced and shared with me. WOW! This place is stunning and yet I’ve never visited before. With its vast forestry, garlic growing on the hills below and small patches of bluebells growing amongst the paths. The smell and scenery of spring in the countryside was very much shouting out at us.
I got to know them both a little more and their plans for their wedding which sound fantastic… *Watch this space*… Apart from the regular dog walker passing by and the many club runners, Cecily and Jamie did a fantastic job of simply embracing eachother in the surrounding and not being phased by them, which can often be off-puting. I think this was the most frames I’d captured in any engagement photoshoot, I couldn’t put my camera down really. Without prompting they simply displayed their love and affection which for me was fantastic to capture…
Here are a few of the highlights from the engagement session.
