Top 5 new wedding venues in South Wales | Updated 2023

The biggest step you’re going to take during your wedding planning process is booking one of the many wedding venues in South Wales. It’s important to take your time to think about what’s best for you and your guests… The guide helps you with some of the latest wedding venues in South Wales and why you should consider them.

Updated for 2023

There’s just so many wedding venues in South Wales alone, it’s overwhelming to find one that you can settle on. The variety and selection of packages and stunning settings are also key. It all depends on what sort of celebrations you’re looking to have and how many guests you’re inviting. You wouldn’t want to host a 50 guest wedding at a 200+ capacity venue or it’ll feel a little empty and vice versa, having too many guests can make the atmosphere feel amazing but may struggle to pass people and you’ll find your self waiting longer at the bar too.

I’ve personally complied a comprehensive list of the newest and best wedding venues in South Wales to help you decide on your dream wedding venue. Are you going to be one of the first to experience the magic of these venues at your wedding celebrations?

1. St Tewdrics

Where do I start? St Tewdrics House is a 19th Century Italianate Villa South wales wedding venue set in 10 acres of Welsh countryside which overlooks the Severn estuary. The venue boasts of weddings in 3 of their rooms including a licence to hold an outdoor ceremony in Wales which is an absolute no brainer. Given the weather is on your side of course!

Owned by Olympic gold medalist and Tour de France winner, Geriant Thomas and his wife Sara. The couple, who own St Tewdrics after having their wedding here in 2015, have now released the venue to other amazing couples getting married. Offering personalised and tailored wedding packages crafted to cater for each couple individually. They want to give couples the freedom and flexibility to create their dream wedding. A huge selling point that rises above all other venues.

This wedding venue in South Wales is surrounded by lush dense tree line and a thick tree canopy framing the entrance to the venue. Slowly revealing the awe and the gorgeousness of the place. St Terdrics is ideal for total privacy for a summer wedding at St Tewdrics.
