Ravello destination wedding Italy | Karys & Seb
Karys & Seb had their incredible Ravello destination wedding recently. Situated 365 meters above the Tyrrhenian Sea perched in the mountains of Ravello on the Amalfi coast in Italy. I’m super excited to share this wedding with you, so please get comfortable and grab yourself a brew or a nice glass of wine – Wish I could have more of their local wine!
With breathtaking views and a venue such as Villa Eva, situated in the cobbled alleyways of the town of Ravello, the wedding was sure to be spectacular! Karys & Seb have such great personalities. Bouncing off each other and constantly making each other laugh while having the best of times! Showing their sincere love and happiness for one another was just stunning to capture on the camera. An absolute pleasure meeting both their families and their stories too!

The ceremony was set in the Giardini Princesa di Piemonte overlooking the small villages of Maiori & Minori and the rest of the Amalfi coast. With the groom awaiting, Karys the bride in hand with her dad and following behind, were her bridesmaids as they walked through the cobbled narrow streets and stairs (there were lots) passing incredibly stunning buildings and street corners – I couldn’t contain my excitement and quite frankly I was feeling super privilaged to be capturing such a stunning Ravello destination wedding.
With celebrations split between the gardens outside Luigi’s Bar and Villa Eva, where the reception was held with even more stunning views. The wedding party slowly made their way through the narrow historic streets to the Villa, being cheered along the way by locals and tourists “complimenti, complimenti!”
Reception
There were far too many highlights but the ones that stood out the most was the stunning reception and speeches. The rawness of lost dear family and friends was very much the main message of each speech. Lovingly remembered and lives celebrated, emotions were high throughout as each of the top table had something to share with some very funny moments also revealed. The evening reception closed with the cutting of the cake and celebratory wedding sparklers.
The first dance was a total surprise – Karys & Seb had secretly rehearsed a dance and performed brilliantly much to their guests excitement! Instantly following – dance offs! This wedding party knew how to party and certainly knew how to dance! I don’t think even the images can do it justice! I’ve not laughed in amazement as much as I did here, serious dance envy! With no signs of the party slowing I ending up staying almost to the end of the celebrations and far into the early morning, I couldn’t take myself away…
