Welsh Cliffs Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot | Vicky & Nick

Pre-wedding photo session locations don’t come better than a red sunset perched on the edge of cliffs of Southerndown. It’s exactly how the couple from the country enjoyed their Welsh cliffs pre-wedding photo shoot recently.

Vicky & Nick who get married in the Summer at Fairyhill joined me for their Welsh cliffs pre-wedding photo shoot. Of course, they expressed how nervous they were and how they spend quite some time going through clothing options too. Having been on a shoot with my partner, Louise recently, we knew exactly how they felt.

The couple brought along their cavapoo, Alfie who was a saint! He enjoyed the new location and explored freely with much joy! I helped eased the couple into the session with a little walk and general conversation before we got right into it, exploring the area and introducing them to one of my favourite places in Wales.

“Just wanted to say a huge thank you for these shots. We actually love them all! We look so relaxed and happy in them, and you’ve captured Alfie’s cheekiness just perfectly.

We’re really grateful for the opportunity to have the pre-shoot and can see how much more relaxed and natural we’ll feel being photographed on the big day. You made us both feel very comfortable and we’re really grateful for that. We can’t quite believe how lucky we were with that sunset too – those pics look just beautiful! ” – Vicky & Nick

As always, I like to take the time to get to know the couple. Making time to make sure they feel as at ease as possible, including Alfie who got lots of tickles. It was also exciting to chat about their vision and plans for the day including their wedding photography at Fairyhill, Gower. Intentionally planning the session around the sunset, it didn’t disappoint and it was a fantastic end to the week and their time ahead of their wedding. Go take a look!

Here are their highlights from their pre-wedding session:
