About the photoshoot
There’s something quite magical about the forest, the mystery and scale of the trees as they tower into the skies, the untouched and amazing landscape that surrounds us. Cerian mentioned that she would love somewhere that showed how small we as humans stood against the world and so after many a late afternoons stroll around local suitable locations to match the brief I came back to a woodland that I explored as a youth. Of course it was, the perfect location for the pre-wedding photo shoot of Cerian & Dan ahead of their wedding next month at Canada Lodge & Lake.
Both Cerian and dan expressed how they weren’t sure how well they would be in front of the camera, granted it’s quite intimidating but again as others before them, the nerves soon shifted after a few silly moments and jokes, the start of the shoot was more of a little exploration, camera was down and we walked a little around the forestry, it was amazing, the colours so vivid and the trees so tall, the woodland so quiet yet so vast, I think the big kid in all of us was out that day… I even got my hands dirty!
As both Dan and Cerian are both rather busy we had to work with the shedule that faced us as apose to the weather conditions which for the day of the photoshoot, was misserable, pure misserable, surrounded by days of glorious sunshine which of course was just our luck, we made it work and thanks to the dense canopy of the trees they both stayed dry, phew! They both embraced the shoot perfectly and I never saw neither of them stop laughing, making my work easy as I captured and watched as their love and happiness radiated between them.
