Pencoed House wedding photography, South Wales | Lisa & Patrick
Lisa & Pat had their wedding recently at Pencoed House. The weather was perfect, everyone was having a great time and I was there to document their wedding photography!
I started out the day by visiting Pat and his groomsmen at their home as they got dressed and prepped Pat’s beloved VW transporter ahead of the wedding. Shortly after, I headed over to bridal preparations to document the Bride and her bridesmaids at Lisa’s parents home.
The wedding ceremony was held at the Tabernacl chapel in Efail Isaf, followed by their wedding reception at Pencoed House Estate near Cardiff. Drinks and Canapés were served on the lawn with small garden games played by the children.
During the best mans speeches, they had managed to get a personal video message from welsh rugby star Adam Jones. This was in light of Pat’s earlier attempts to style his hair similarly years before. The reception resumed with the cutting of the cake and more drinks on the lawn and patio area.
We managed to slip away for 20 minutes to capture some natural and relaxed moments as part of their Pencoed house wedding photography too! Always a particular favourite moment to document as this is one of the only times the couple get to be alone and their emotions really show.
You can read about their pre-wedding photo session here too! – Lisa & Pat – pre-wedding.
The rest of the night was partied hard to the sounds of Brother Ray, tons of fresh pizza consumed and some very creative dancing on the dance floor with ties around heads.
