Fewer people. Nowhere to hide. My favourite kind of day.

With ten guests instead of a hundred, everything is closer. You hear the vows properly. Nobody is performing. I stay quiet, keep out of the way, and photograph it as it happens, exactly as I would a full day.

You get the same cameras, the same editing and the same care. The only difference is how long I’m with you.

Questions about smaller days.

Can we book a shorter day on a Saturday?

No. Saturdays are kept for full-day coverage, so shorter days run Sunday to Friday. Midweek weddings often suit these days better anyway, and venues are usually quieter and cheaper too.

What if we only need two or three hours?

That’s fine for a register office ceremony or an elopement. Shorter coverage is priced by the hour, with a minimum of two hours. Tell me your timings and I’ll send the exact cost.

How many photographs will we receive?

It depends on the length of your day rather than a set number. Every photograph worth keeping is individually edited, and nothing is padded with near-duplicates.

Can we add film?

Yes. Hybrid coverage, where I photograph and film the day myself, can be added to a shorter day. Tell me what you have in mind and I’ll price it for your hours.

Do you travel for elopements?

Yes. I’m across South Wales, the Cotswolds and Wiltshire most weeks, and travel is included for most of the UK. I’ve also photographed weddings in Santorini, Ravello, France and Spain, where travel and accommodation are set out up front.

Is the experience any different from a full day?

No. You get the same planning support, the same portal, the same previews on the night and the same gallery. The day is shorter, that’s all.
