Cookridge Hall Wedding photography | Scarlet & Chris
Scarlet & Chris had their Cookridge hall wedding recently and it was awesome! The venue tied in with Chris’ passion for golf, where he of course* had to get one last game in before the celebrations which were intimate and emotional.
Cookridge hall wedding venue in Leeds hosted the super awesome wedding of Scarlet & Chris in August. The day started with us meeting Chris on the last 2 holes of the golf course getting in a quick game before the celebrations. The bride Scarlet, having her bridal preparations surrounded by her bridesmaids at Weetwood Hall close by with make-up & hair by Brittany Jae.
Their ceremony was held at the cathedral-like St Johns Church in Moor Allerton. The service lead by Revenant Sharon who was fantastically enthusiastic and young which was certainly refreshing. She ensured plenty of singing, readings and blessings. With vows exchanged, rings placed and the first kiss sealed it was celebration time!

The reception held at the Cookridge hall wedding venue nearby where lawn games, a piñata and ice cream tricycle were all enjoyed ahead of their wedding breakfast in the conservatory at the venue. The speeches at times difficult due to the passing of family members who were celebrated and remembered together with several toasts throughout.
With the nights now slowly drawing in it was already dusk and it was onto the main event, the Piñata! That thing was built to withstand children sized and further more adult attacks all but failing, eventually the piñata, spilling bucket loads of sweets onto the floor at the hand of Chris the groom! The evening ended with their first dance set to ‘You’ve Got A Friend in Me’ – Michael Bublé. Quickly followed onto the dance floor were their guests as they partied through the night!
