Bear Hotel Wedding photography, South Wales | Lucy & Ciaran
The Bear Hotel Wedding venue hosted the big day of Lucy & Ciaran in February on a very crisp, sunshine filled day! Perfect for a winter wedding! I arrived at Lucy & Ciarans home where the bridal preparations were being held, with Ciaran getting ready a few streets away, where I visited a little later. The girls were in top spirits and super excited to get the day started. Hair and Make-up being finalized and dressed about to be worn. I headed over to see the groomsmen…
The Bear Hotel ceremony room was filled with guests and stunning light from the large windows lighting the whole room. The cars pulling up, carrying the Bride, Lucy and, her dad. The other car bringing the bridesmaids and Mother of the bride. The ceremony was about to begin having also planned for an un-plugged wedding so that everyone was in the moment!
With the couple newly married, group shots captured. We headed to a local common for their portrait session via the wedding car . This is where I dropped my camera 🙁 Thankfully everything was ok, I had a back-up and captured some epic low lit portraits! We soon headed back and walked to the physics gardens with groomsmen and bridesmaids too!
Speeches given, which were honest and raw… It’s my favourite part of the day. They give such an insight into the dynamics of the family with such stories and often, are so moving! The first dance and the rest of the partying soon ensued and lasting well into the early hours. I drove away happy having met and photographed such wonderful people. As a wedding photographer, I meet many families but I’m sure Lucy & Ciarans wedding will be a highlight!
