Wedding photography South Wales & Destination wedding ’17 Review

Wedding photography South Wales wedding photographer review 2017 bride and groom walking along penarth pier

Well, that just blew my socks off! Have you ever had that moment where a little laugh of confidence and achievement is let out when you think you could never achieve something… That’s what I’ve just done looking back and reflecting on my wedding photography over this stupidly awesome year!

Too many ‘inspirational’ quotes to call out right now. Some of which carried me through the year, hung proudly on my wall to give the sometimes needed motivation. Ultimately I’ve proven all the naysayers wrong, including myself. It’s a huge “whoop”, fist pump to the air moment. To leave my comfortable, reliable income job to ‘chase’ an ambition and lust to have my own business in something I absolutely love is just unreal. Every day still is a blessing. Ultimately the people I meet, learn about and photograph makes me into someone I never knew I was. The stories I’ve had the privilege of documenting and learning about is just fantastic and it fuels me to work harder, think deeper and explore further into the life of others through my camera.

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind if you compress these last 12 months into a snapshot. No one month the same. I have found a wonderful person. She is caring and loving and I’m excited to see where that leads. I have traveled abroad for yet more destination weddings in Italy. Captured and delivered over 20 wedding galleries to wonderful couples! I’m totally pumped about 2017 and now what that may hold. Excited isn’t the word for how I feel to capture and develop my wedding photography in a different light with more knowledge and techniques learned for 2018.

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it!” - Ferris Bueller

I don’t often like to keep still for long and I am forever looking for new experiences and challenges. I am constantly looking to develop my business for my clients. For the experience of creating something special and inspiring. 2018 is going to be my biggest year yet already being fully booked for wedding photography in South Wales with a handful of destination weddings too which will take me back to Italy which is always a damn good privilege. The business is going to see some interesting changes and I can’t wait to see them through. Each year has gone from strength to strength and is only getting better. Weddings in 2018 are going to be epic and I can’t wait to get started!

It’s been tough to round down the thousands of wedding photography images I’ve captured this year. It’s truly been a labor of love to select the top 150 that I feel most connected to, but I think I’ve finally managed it so here are my 2017 wedding photography in South Wales and international favorites!

Wedding photography & Destination wedding highlights

Being a wedding photographer in South Wales is challenging as it is rewarding, and I thank everyone who has trusted me to capture their wedding day this year and those who have booked me already for 2018 & 2019! It’s going to be an even more special year and as usual thank you for supporting, sharing and engaging with my posts, including reading my rambling on and odd waffle! Please continue to do so, I am forever grateful for you doing so! Don’t forget you can follow me on Instagram too!
