Ohh Hey, I’m Lewis! I’m a Cardiff wedding photographer.

 

Focusing on the moments that matter to you the most, your family and friends. My aim is to capturing your wedding guests at your celebrations at St Tewdrics House in an unobtrusive way as I carefully and attentively document the emotion throughout.

 

I’ve created this page to share with you some of the recent wedding photography at St Tewdrics House that I have captured. Hopefully I can be a part of your wedding plans and help you to realise your vision for your special day throughout the planning process and on your special day.

Having looked at over 15 photographers for our wedding, as soon as we had a video call with Lewis we knew that he was the right one for us! From the initial video call, Lewis was professional, personable and extremely passionate about what he does and that really shone through.

 

On the wedding day, Lewis fitted in seamlessly and knew the venue like the back of his hand, suggesting some amazing shots for us both but also capturing some lovely natural images. He is able to direct people in a way that they feel comfortable but also work with the timelines of the day, ensuring that we didn’t fall behind. Everyone commented on how funny and charismatic Lewis was on the day.

 

Below are some previews that we received from Lewis, which he turned around in less than 24 hours. We were so excited to see these and now cannot wait to receive the full gallery. We would highly recommend Lewis for your wedding day!

Photography at St Tewdrics House

Based in Chepstow, the wedding venue is one of the hottest for couples looking for a modern and elegant wedding. The Italian renaissance style villa oozes luxury, character and wedding vibes! It has become one of the most sought-after venues in South Wales. Perfectly nestled away, overlooking the Severn Estuary and surrounded by lush woodland and a gorgeous drive, this venue is incredible for weddings.

 

St Tewdrics House is even more picturesque than you can imagine inside. A perfect staircase for all couples to showcase dropped with fresh flowers, a wow point for your guest’s arrivals too. The ceremony room and the chance to have your vows outside among the wild flower gardens, sharing your vows under the pergola which has recently had an upgrade, not many places can boast of that!

 

Did you know that the wedding venue is owned by Tour de France Winner and Olympian Geraint Thomas OBE and his wife Sara; They also hosted their own wedding at St Tewdrics House back in 2015 which started the whole idea of owning a wedding venue in Chepstow. The whole team are incredibly friendly and supportive during the whole wedding planning stage too.

Guests attending St Tewdrics House weddings are able to take advantage of their 8 guest rooms available. With the venue being completely exclusive to you and up to 150 guests you’re able to make full use of the place with peace and plenty of partying! They also offer flexibility with catering so you can completely cater exactly to your needs!

My approach on a wedding day is to capture and create a personal wedding gallery that leaves remembering your wedding in 10-20 years exactly how it was. Reminding you of the smells, colours and moments that might have been forgotten, that’s the true legacy of wedding photography.

 

I’m with you, I can’t stand posing or “kiss, kiss” it’s cheesy and awkward. Instead, I’ll spend time getting to know you to make you feel comfortable as if I’m a long-time friend. I’ll be there all-day to document your your morning preparations through to late-night photography coverage, all day, nothing less! No posing, no cheesiness and no time limits… Just pure relaxed, candid and great fun, while you’re busy celebrating the best days of your lives. Want to see if I have availability for your date?
