Sant Ffraed House Summer Wedding | Roya & Chris

Hosting a Summer wedding at Sant Ffraed House, a wedding venue in Abergavenny, surrounded by rolling hills, and endless golden sunsets over the black mountains; Really, it’s a super venue with a very photogenic personality.

Roya & Chris got married over the Summer at one of the South of the UK’s hottest and luxury wedding venues, Sant Ffraed House, formally known as Llansantffraed. The Oldwalls collection taking over and putting it’s exclusive and trademark stamp on the service, style and experience.

Having spoken with Roya and Chris throughout their planning process, I was excited to help document their vision ahead of their special day. As a wedding photographer South Wales, it’s important to be able to appreciate the needs of couples, no gimmicks, no posing, just honest and candid wedding photography.

The couple had their ceremony in the superb, and beautifully lit ceremony room at the venue, a grand piano beautifully played by Hannah of South Wales Pianist; Matching the atmosphere and feeling of the day. With the venue being exclusive, the lawn and patio area being the spot for guests to enjoy and take in the surroundings while enjoying the tasty canapes, and the champagne endlessly poured. The weather certainly worked its magic all day too with a super sunset to end too!

One highlight of the day was how the gentle and warm breeze caught the bride’s 2 shoulder veils as she had a moment with her new husband in front of the venue. The other… well, Roya, smashed cake into Chris’ face, covering him with red velvet and icing! You can see it in the slideshow below!
