Miskin manor wedding in November sparklers

Miskin Manor Wedding | Eleanor & Chris | Lewis Fackrell Photography

Eleanor and Chris got married at the beautiful grounds of Miskin Manor Hotel. Surrounded by their friends and family from the North of England and South Wales. The Miskin Manor wedding was the perfect opportunity to reunite everyone! Having met Eleanor and Chris over a year ago for their pre-wedding photoshoot. We had plenty of time to get to know each other. We quickly established our common love for comic book films and Star Wars. Of course they were amazed that I’d actually featured in Episode 7 (true story), I couldn’t keep a secret like that from such big fans as them. From the moment they told me that their wedding was going to be comic book themed, I couldn’t wait, you’ll see how much thought went into the theme through the photos to come…

Meeting them on their wedding day, they were both super excited and relaxed, I found Chris in his room as he prepared and wrote his speech to his soon to be wife. Eleanor was surrounded by her mum, bridesmaids, and hair & make-up in the appropriately named, Eleanor suite. Although the morning of 26th November was very cold. The sun was gloriously shining with barely a cloud in sight, such great weather for their wedding. It was setting out to be an ‘action’ packed day.

As Eleanor, and her Dad walked down the isle, a time when emotion is often at its highest. Rightfully so, with dignity in hand, Chris showed his emotion at his bride as she walked towards him ahead of their ceremony. With rings exchanged and the register newly signed, Mr & Mrs Quinn were pronounced, husband and wife.

With the rest of their wedding day playing out. I was there to capture the emotion and document the joys of their day. Photographing family and friends meeting each other for the first time. As the sun drew in we quickly dashed out to snatch a few portraits of Eleanor and Chris. As the sun laid low on the horizon I captured some stunning intermate moments alone. Before we knew it the wedding breakfast had begun. Speeches from Chris, the father of the bride and best men made for plenty of laughter, emotion, and toasting. The night drew to a close with a stunning walk down an alley of guests waving sparklers. Albeit taking place in the chilling conditions, the results were certainly worth bearing the elements for.
