Coed-y-Mwstwr wedding | Charlotte & Johnny | South Wales wedding
Coed-y-Mwstwr wedding venue near Cardiff hosted the wedding of Charlotte & Johnny in June. I joined Charlotte at her parents home in Cardiff Bay. The boys in the living area watch the Lions Tour taking taking on New Zealand. Disappointingly ending in a draw. Everyone has to win these days! The vibe was calm and excitement gently teasing itself slowly as the morning progressed. With the bridal party in turn having their hair and make-up dressed, emotion on the brides parents faces began to show. Wearing their proudness and excitement as the ceremony crept ever closer and Charlotte would become Mrs Elias.
The Ceremony at St Peters Church in Dinas Powys arrived, the church service fully seated. Choral voices echoed around with the sounds of welsh hymns sung proudly by Porthcawl male voice choir. Emotion worn proudly during a beautiful & colourful service. With vows exchanged and rings placed Charlotte & Johnny were married. Exiting via a tunnel of guests tossing and throwing of confetti and celebration with cheers and happiness!
Their celebrations continued over at Coed-y-Mwstwr wedding venue where a drinks reception and glorious weather awaited. Shortly after meeting and having further celebrations with their guests, Charlotte & Johnny and I went onto the lawn to photograph their wedding portrait session. Completely beautiful, natural and elegant. They strolled along the grass in front of the venue, their first as a married couple. There’s just something so warming and heartfelt watching a couple express their love for one another on their wedding day, it’s such a honour to capture this for them as a South Wales wedding photographer!
